I love to curl up on the couch with a warm cup of tea. Chai tea is one of my favorites as it delivers a comforting aroma and taste. That is what inspired me to create a cookie that is made with chai tea. These cookies share the same smell and flavor of the tea, giving me that extra reason to take it easy in my favorite spot on the couch.

Ingredients
½ cup liquid coconut
oil
¼ cup honey
1 tablespoon Vitacost loose chai tea leaves
1 egg, at room
temperature
1 1/3 cup oat flour
1 scoop ARO vanilla
whey protein powder
1 teaspoon ground
cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground
cardamom
1 teaspoon baking
soda
dash of salt
Method
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a sheet pan and set
aside.
2. Combine the first
three ingredients in a small saucepan on the stovetop over low heat. Let
mixture heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Add egg to a mixing bowl. While whisking, slowly pour the
coconut oil mix in the mixing bowl with the egg. Whisk until completely smooth.
4. Add in the remainder of ingredients and stir until well
combined.
5. Using a small ice cream scoop, drop cookie dough on the
baking sheet until 15 cookies are formed.
6. Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
