  1. Is there anything one could use to replace the almond flour in this recipe?

    1. It will probably change the texture a bit since almond flour doesn't absorb as much liquid, but you can use additional whole wheat or oat flour - I would try only using 2 tablespoons of flour of choice in place of the 1/4 cup almond meal. Hope this helps :)

  4. The recipe calls for 1 whole egg, but the method has egg whites listed. What should be used?

  6. Made this tonight. I used oat bran instead of oat flour and was worried about the outcome. But it is super delicious! Nice texture! So glad I doubled the recipe and have one for the freezer. Thanks for sharing this winner!!

  7. Hi Nicolette, do you have any suggestions to replace the wheat or oat flour that would be gluten free?
    Thank you

    1. I actually use a gluten-free oat flour. If you can't find that, I recommend using almond meal flour and coconut flour at a 1:1 ratio to replace the oat flour cup for cup. Does this make sense??

  14. Whole wheat will surely taste appetizing by adding fresh berries or mashed bananas. Make a nice loaf or muffins with these ingredients. bread machine recipes

  15. I wonder what would happen if I made it without the cream cheese. I can't have dairy right now so I'm having a hard time finding a sub for that. I wanna try it anyway though!
